Nanaimo - A local pet food manufacturer was creating a new line of organic and natural treats for horses. With over 1,700 package designs to their credit, Primal was contracted to create a range of packaging for the Royal Equine line that was green and above all, would get noticed! "After researching the industry we noticed the competition was using buckets for their packaging. While this solved rodent issues, it created a waste problem with buckets being sent to landfills or burned after use. We opted for a biodegradable line of packaging for the 2 & 4 lb boxes. These boxes are easily composted, and were printed with soy based inks for a greener line of packaging." says Robert Dodds, President & Creative Director of Primal Communications. "Better yet, the packaging concepts won a meeting with a National distributor for our client and resulted in a huge order even before the packaging designs were completed."

The Royal Equine line is comprised of 4 flavours in 2 sizes. Primal has started the designs on another flavour for the line already due to the success of the first 4.
