Nanaimo – Local studio Primal Communications wins 7 International Awards at the International Gallery of Superb Printing 2009 Awards. 1,500 entries from 17 Countries were judged for design and technical merit by an international panel of judges. The awards were comprised of 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze. “To have great clients work with us in developing their branding, tourism marketing collateral and packaging design, and to be recognized for our work in our areas of specialty is just so rewarding” Robert Dodds, President & Creative Director of Primal.

Primal received 5 of the awards for their branding, stationery and tourism marketing collateral for The Beach Club Resort in Parksville, BC. Their design on The Beach Club's Conference & Wedding Planner Brochure won 2 Golds and a Silver, while the Business Cards and Stationery designs added another a pair of Silvers.

Another Gold was won for Primal's design work on St Photoworks business cards, a series of unique oversize cards in the shape of an old fashioned slide.

Primal's biodegradable package design for the Royal Equine(TM) line of products was also recognized with a Bronze award.
