The Challenge:

In April 2006 Primal was awarded the contract to re-organize and re-design the Parksville Economic Development site, known to the public as: Business by the Beach. The current site could no longer fulfill their needs anymore, mainly due to a lack of user friendliness and confusing navigation.

The Solution:

With such an information heavy site, it was necessary to re-position much of the content. We began by breaking down the current site, reorganizing the content, which created better functionality and user-friendliness. Fun, playful colours were used to help attract users and bring a new light to the world of business. Building on Parksville's newly designed print collateral, the goal was to create a simple, clear, user-friendly layout. The result - the site has become a much more useful tool for businesses and individuals.
